Fun Spot to Drive your WRX...

Just thought I'd toss this out there....

Taking 394E towards Mpls, You stay in the far left lane, not the lanes that go to 94.

Take the exits to 4th Street or Washington. There is a really nice set of curves in there that I love going on everday when I'm comin home from work.

If you can hit that part when its not rush hour its a lot of fun to take! I've been driving this for a few months now and as of yet, in the afternoon coming into Mpls, no rush hour, haven't seen any cops on that last lil stretch. So I tend to gun it... They all seem to get off the highway for 94 exits.

~I'M NOT TELLING ANYONE TO SPEED THERE! THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT THERE IS 40MPH, PLEASE FOLLOW THE SPEED LIMIT~

 

Be careful down there because I HAVE seen cops hiding out under the parking ramps you go under! AND the speed limit drops to 40 somewhere in there!

 

I like the 94w to 394 exit.

Agreed. And its 2-lane for passing goodness.

 

I like the one from the Xcel Center entering 94W, right by the MN Historical Society place. If you are too fast through the first curve, the second WILL catch you by surprise.

 

the on ramp to hwy 7 from hwy 100s, very curvy, very fun.

 

I have been having some fun on highway 101 south that runs between highway 5 in chanhassen all the way down to highway 212. They straightened part of highway 101 but there are still some nice twisties around by the lakes and also going downhill on the approach to highway 212.

lots of dangerous blind turns though.

also....+1000000 for the road we took to la crosse that was a blast!!!

I see cops all the time there. They sit where 6th street ramp brakes off. I've watch them sit there out of the car waving people over. That is one area i do not go zooming though.

 

I used to zoom through there, until I saw cops there at least every other day when I'd come into or leave work.

 

Come out to Mound. I'll show you some nice gravel country roads. Cops!? ha, there arent any other drivers!

I was just about to post this. Nice sweeper to pick up speed and a decreasing radius turn that you can AWDrift onto 100S. I LOVE that corner.

 

The 94W to 394W exit is Teh Sex. Outside lane pass at WOT FTW!

Inbound 394E exits into Mpls are nasty. PoPo everywhere. Be careful down there.

 

Mega PoPo down that stretch. Used to drive it daily for work. Edina cops crawling all over it.
