Hey i have a legacy and i am looking at getting a fuzz. The only problem/question is who has them, brands etc... What to look for that are advantages and disadvantages with each one and do they work well with the new laser guns that the troopers are using in the state. I do have a buddy who has one but it went off way to late with the new lasers and he got a hefty ticket. thank you all and have a great friday. stay strong

you can't really defend against the lasers...they point at you, pull a trigger then your f'd...but anyhow make sure to get one where you can turn the startup sounds off...drove me crazy

The V1 seems to be the ultimate in radar detection.

I have heard that they will tell you about laser when your hit or if the guy next to you is hit. Laser is just to hard to tell until its too late.

Valentine also offers firmware updates on there units so it possible to pick up a cheap one on ebay and have it updated.

The best way to avoid getting a ticket it to drive the speed limit. It sucks but it works, that why I am doing it now :-(

I will be getting a V1 soon. They will pick up lazer fragments bouncing between cars in traffic, which is pretty sweet. Its really nice to know which direction radar is coming from too.

I have a V1 and love it. Just know that any radar detector will not save you from Laser or any instant-on. You will be tagged and most likely pulled over if they see your radar so be sure to install it in a discreet location.
