G/I 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS

Well unfortunately I have to do this.. but college has gotten the best of me. I will have to let my girl go if someone makes the right offer. As for right now I just am curious upon what kind of interest I get in my car and what people have to say.

Car is pretty much stock. Has an AEM Short Ram intake Tsudo (eBay) exhaust, but still sounds pretty good. I have also sticker bombed the interior trim pieces. You can kinda see this in the interior picture. This is just a still from video stuff, I plan on getting a full interior picture soon.

I live in Buffalo, Mn, but go to school in Grand Forks, ND... so I will be there for a majority of the time and make occasional trips to the cities and the suburbs and such. If you care to see more pictures of anything let me know! The wheels that are on the car in the picture are OEM 17" 06 WRX wheels that were sanded, primed, and rattle canned black. There are small almost unnoticeable chips from those, but the car currently stands on the stock wheels and some all-season tires that have a good 70% tread left on them. The WRX wheels are wrapped with Potenza RE92's which have 25-30% tread left. I won't be putting them back on until the summer.

Current Miles: 115,300 - this will go up as I make trips to and from school
I would be looking for trades of either older Legacy GT's (manual) and depending on the condition, my car + $ or an 02, 03 or 04 WRX (preferably a wagon with a few mods) and my car + $$$ on the other end, but once again I am just seeing what people are thinking..

Price: $6750 with both sets of wheels and tires (G/I)

There are a few cosmetic defects on the car: The usually back right quarter panel has minor rust. I will get pics of that tomorrow or soon. She got keyed right above the gas cap that is rarely seen unless you point it out and some of the paint on the front bumper has peeled off. Overall nothing significant for this old of a car. Interior looks good as new.

If you're selling your car because of college (I'm assuming its college tuition or you need money for school or something), why would you want to trade your 02 2.5RS + money for a 02-04 WRX? You would not only lose money but your car insurance would probably go up as well, thus college tuition would be even more of a pain. It makes more sense to trade down, not trade up if college is hard on you. I just don't know why you said you're selling your car because of college but you want to trade up. I just think that would make your situation worse you know what I'm saying?

 

I do understand what you're saying.. I guess it's really not too big of a deal to me. I really would like a car that I can build and work on.

If someone would like to trade an 02 wagon that is what I am mainly looking for to buy. I really want something to build next summer and from there on out. Or a 2000 2.5rs swapped with an ej20.

Since I have had my car I have done the oil with Mobile 1 synthetic about every 3000 miles and never have let it get too far from there.

Later on he stated, "I am just seeing what people are thinking." Which again is open to interpretation and I gave him advice and kept it on topic.

That's very borderline totaled... sorry to hear that Dan...

 

I just noticed that there is a hairline crack in the hood and the back light is all scratched up too.. just more to add to it I guess.

Car was totalled... insurance gave me an offer for the car and I took it soo that is that. I took my dash trim out and am working on unstickering all of it, then re-stickering it so it will look nice and pretty. If anyone has an offer for that send me a PM and we can talk about that.. Other than that this thread can be CLOSED!
