Boston Scientific corp. Go throught ProStaff

Always hiring. Depending on what department you're in, LOTS of Overtime.

Decent pay, even though i am looking for a new job too.

A staffing company could be a good start. Most of the time they have you on a contract for like 6 months then whatever company you are working for will offer to take over your pay (you get a raise). I know a few people who have gotten pretty choice jobs through staffing companies.

thanks guys, I have looked into prostaff in the past, but I vaguely remember there being specific buildings for specific jobs, like for an accounting job you would have to apply at the blaine location and so on..

can anyone give me a number for just general employment?

    well lets see here

I worked for 2 and a half years at a marina in spring park. I mastered everything there, I started out in the rental boat area, cleaning gassing and inspecting rental boats, I from there moved out to the gas dock (duties explain themselves) in the winter I would pressure wash bottom clean and winterize boats. I also did work orders in the front office and answered phones and worked the store there.

from there I started working at sears imported autos as a carwasher (not detail) all I really did there was vac. the interior, run through a carwash and hand dry cars. I cleaned floors every night and sometimes did deliveries to other dealerships.

I then began working at DHL in plymouth. I started as a dock worker loading and unloading trucks, job duties there were wrapping skids of packages, weighing boxes and seperating zip codes and such. I then got "promoted" to forklift driver and eventually was loading trucks with the forklift for half the night then I had a load of express packages I would bring down to the airport runway and load in the belly of a 747 (cool stuff)

I am now working at sofitel in bloomington, I am a guest service operator and its not really a bad job, its just totally not the career path I am going to take.

I'd like maybe another forklift job or something but I am open to anything really. im good with my hands and I NEED something mon-fri even if its crazy hours.

last summer I also worked part time at an oil change place right in town on the side for cash. it was not a full service shop, just oil changes, trans flush, and diffys

I also worked part time at jetboyz in spring park, I was doing everything from watering plants to pulling and fixing jetski engines and rebuilding carbs. I left because the guy would charge 69.00 for work I was doing, and he was paying me 7 of that.

I worked for a while at LSI in delano. It was very hands on work, assembling stuff, and working with parts for playgrounds. Not the greatest job in the world but mon-fri 10-6 w/ ok pay. They are normally looking for people, although mostly in the spring time as business picks up.

i am looking for a job too but i think i found one. i just got interviewed at two places and am getting a second one on monday. One of them is valet for Canterbury park and the other one is Supervalues distribution center in Hopkins. I really want the supervalue job because even part time starts you off at $15.29 per hour and its union. :hsugh:
