I'm sure this has been covered, but didn't pull up on a quick search...

Just wondering, I've been hitting 17-19 mpg since installing stg 2 cobb a few months ago, what is everyone else averaging? Mostly city driving.

Stg 2 93 oct = average of 17 (ran for three months solid)
Stg 2 91 oct = average of 18.5-19 (ran for 3 tanks full so far)

I get around 240-250 per tank regardless of map... but I fill up around 1/4 left so I am usually topping up around 220m??? I think my mileagae sucks.. but thats probably the way I drive it

Over the winter I was getting around 20-23mpg. Summer I was usually closer to 26mpg. This is almost all highway millage. I didn't see alot of difference between the 91 and 93 maps.

Wow, my numbers are very low compared to other people...I'm accustomed to driving pretty hard. Are the mileage #'s in the 20's with spirited driving or you guys taking it easy?

Yeah, I get mid 20's when just driving "normal" on the freeway. Never really measured, but it seems to go down quite a bit if I'm in the gas a lot. I'd guess probably down around 21.

Steve, you might be running a bit rich. Might want to get your A/R ratio checked out. I do some ocassional sprints but still get 20's MPG

thanks. I admit, I'm ignorant when it comes to A/F ratios, etc...Do you have any specific suggestions on 'how to' check my ratios?

FYI: Every morning when i start the beast it runs a tad rough for 5 seconds or so. Not bad, but i can tell it's running a bit rough...then it smooths out and everything sounds good. I just contributed that to my stg2 and no cats. Is that also an indication of running rich?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!

I average 24 mpg with mixed driving. The very worst I've gotten was 19 and it was when I was driving extremely spirited.

I'm pretty sure you can data log using your accessport cable and openecu.org's software (or any similar software) on a laptop.
A black sooty tailpipe is a good indication of running rich, but I wouldnt go on superficial data alone.
