Well I got my Defi gauges and am very pleased with the way they look. I still have to paint the pod that they came with but that will be done shortly. My big problem is how do I get them installed. So who wants a free dinner or something of similar value. I got three gauges that need to be installed, boost EGT and Oil Temp. I got no clue how to do any three of them so am unable to provide any sort of help but would love to watch. Please someone post up if they can do them or where I could go to have them done.

That was only a suggestion but anything would be cheaper than having a shop do it and who knows if one around here could even do it properly

Well, assuming that you have all the parts needed, the only difficult one is the EGT, but it isn't really difficult, just a pain in the a**. The boost is actually a piece of cake, running the wires is the most difficult part! Let me know if you cannot find someone to help... I don't have a lot of time, but maybe we can fit it in.

Defi owner here! Great choice, I put them #1 on my list of a well thought out quality piece.

If you would like a quality install let me know.

I would love a quality install from either you. Please put some times when either of you are available so that I can get my car over to you. I am in summer break so I can do it pretty much whenever so just let me know. My only problem right now is that I am having trouble finding the paint for my Defi pod. I am looking for the sem ford plastic bumber paint in medium smoke. People on NASIOC said thats the stuff to use but I can't find it. Any one else ever used it or got another suggestion?

SEM medium smoke :D that's what I have on my pod. Let me know when you want to come over during the weekend to spray your pod?

I've been trying to set some times so I can bother Matt to do my gauge install as well.

Matt wanted to repaint his pod as well so I guess we can do a garage day or something.

Sounds perfect...how long does it take for the stuff to dry? I would want to do it all in the same day but if it takes like 12 hours then I better get it done ahead of time. Any day would work for me to get those installed. Very excited now.

Anyone got vics number or can reach him easily? I tried e-mailing him and looking for his number but I lost it while I was waiting for my sandwich gasket. Anyone???
