I'm looking at upgrading here soon and I wanted to see what kind of response I'd get on here. 2001 Subaru Impreza Coupe, 5MT, Silverthorn Metallic. 78xxx miles this morning. bone stock, never been modified. Runs and drives great. The Good: No rust on the car Interior is immaculate, save for the cloth floormats. 2 door coupe with the 5mt, it's an 01 so it has the carbon int. trim and VLSD 3 sets of wheels: 1 set of 15in steelies with Michelin X Ice Snow tires, 1 set of Legacy Turbo alloy 15in wheels with generic snows (shot) and stock 6 spoke RS wheels (no tires yet) Sunroof works great, both windows roll down, locks work, etc. Factory cassette/single cd player The Bad: The front diff has been making noise, sounds like a bearing issue. I may have a replacement through Mike Wray sourced. Car drives just fine, and the noise isn't noticeable with the radio turned up. Minor scuffs in the paint, also some light key marks on passenger side. I haven't had a chance to buff them out yet. Has the factory alarm but the wires to the secondary horn have been cut. Car was in an accident back in 2002 IIRC. Work was done at Morries Bodyworks, I pulled the work order as I was still at BP when I bought the car. No frame damage, R Fender, R HL, Hood and bumper replaced. Minor rock chips in various spots. One fog light has a rock chip, no rust inside the housing. Roof has some hail damage from the storm last summer. If the buyer would like I can have it PDR'd out. A couple of missing clips for the pass side fender liner, but I'll be replacing those shortly. Any other questions, PM me. The car spent quite a bit of time in CA as a student car, then came back to MN and was the 3rd car for an older couple who traded it for an 08 Outback. I'll probably have one of the Petersons give it a once over to make sure there isn't anything I'm missing. I'm looking to get around 7k for the car as is, 8k for the PDR and trans to be replaced.
Thanks Ben, I'll be swinging in on Thursday to talk to you and Brian. EJ20, I've already got my next car in mind. Thanks though.
