Gauging Interest...Fog Light Assy for Covers

    I am about to get a FMIC and want to trade my Fog light assembly for COVERS ONLY since I cannot keep my fogs with the fmic. I have a 2005 Black WRX.

    Anyone interested???

    WRX or STI fog light covers will work.

    many fmic kits allow you to keep your fogs. at least in the bugeyes they do

    i would assume you can trim down the buckets too and retain them... its worth a shot to try to keep them first, and then if you cant then trade for some covers i would say

    alright thanks guys. I have peanut headlights and I am planning on buying a cheap ebay FMIC and fabricating parts to make it work.

    I'll def be trading if I can't keep the fogs.

    make sure you get one of the kits that actually includes one of the new bumper beams, if not it will become even more of a pain. also, if your not careful you'll end up with a kit with piping that doesnt match up to the IC and the turbo

    yea no bumper beam...ill be fabricating one myself out of some aluminum stock, we have a CNC plasma cutter here so I'll make my own for free

    I guess I have 2 concerns, relocating the coolant overflow tank and also if my turbo xs bov will mount directly to the IC tube or will I need to buy or make some sort of coupler.

    I have a Java Black Pearl STi and I have fogs in it, so my covers are just chillin'. I think yours may be OBP so the blacks might not match up. Lemme know in the future if I may be of help. :biggrin:

    yes mine is OBP. I have found a writeup on how to save the stock fogs with modification so I plan on doing this instead. Thanks for the interest though
