I am gauging interest in selling my Gateway M520X Plus Laptop. (and yeah, this is gonne be a giant post!) Specs: 15.4" LCD Screen (widescreen) Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.06 Ghz 512 MB RAM 100 GB Hard Drive ATI Radeon 9600 64 MB Dedicated memory Video card (supports Pixel Shader 2.0) DVD-RW CD-RW Flaws: The internal wireless card does not work. I spoke with Gateway at length about the issue, and eventually sent in the computer for repair, however they wanted to charge me over $100 so i just bought a Netgear 802.11G External Wireless card for the PCI slot, which will be included with the sale of the laptop. Better range on an external card anyways The headphone port somehow managed to get a little messed up, a piece of a headphone jack got broken off in it, and in removing that piece i removed the little green plastin ring as well. The headphone jack still works!! But you need to throw some tape on the jack to make sure it stays in. (Both these flaws are fairly minor, the external wireless card is included, and the headphone jack still works, with ingenuity) Software: I will, after reformatting, include the following software, these are legal, and legitimate copies, not hacked or cracked!!! Windows XP Professional Edition W/ Service Pack 2 Microsoft Office 2003 (the full version, not the student teacher) Adobe Photoshop CS2 (This is $1000 worth of legit software) This laptop will play games too! I was able to play Half-Life 2, Age of Empires 3, Civ IV, and many other games with absolutely no probelm (even though they said min. 128MB dedicated video memory) Even WOW for you online freaks  Maybe not at full settings but you can play these, and newer games at ok settings. This was a $1400 laptop brand new a year ago, and im including $1000 of software, if anyone "might" be interested, let me know or pm me an offer. Any other questions let me know!!!
