Hey all, A bunch of Chumpcar guys (http://www.chumpcar.com) have gotten together and are working out a group deal with a local distributor for HJC Helmets and Corbeau seats. I thought I'd post here to see if anyone was planning on buying a helmet or seat for the race season. If you are interested, PM me your email address and I'll forward it along to the guy organizing the group buy - John, the Cheeseville regional coordinator for Chumpcar. Neither I, nor the organizer are making any money on this. We are just trying to get cheap helmets/seats ourselves, and hook up others. We figure there's a lot of people looking to buy helmets and seats this time of year. I'm not allowed to post exact details online... but more interest = more discount! Lot of people interested initially, and a TON of flakers. Oh well, guess it is expected. But we just need a few more people in for helmets to hit a benchmark. I won't say how much it is, but let me say it will be cheaper than you can get a HJC helmet anywhere... by a lot.

i hear ya. Id be in for a helmet, but ill tell ya right now i don't have the cash. Otherwise it would be nice!
Which model helmet is it for? I have an HJC full-face and am interested in finding an open face version for driving cars.
