1999 RBP 2.5rs. 99K miles, drives great, new pads, just did timing belt and front main seal. 20mm front sway, and 20mm rear sway. Blast to drive. I'm thinking about getting a different car, just seeing what kind of interest there is. And what people are willing to pay for it. Body has some scratches and rock chips. email would be better to get ahold of me, I can email some pics. [email protected]
    thanks

the VR6s are fast. i know a couple ppls that had them. but the thing with VWs and most german cars is that they are engineerd for what they are. they are designed to only have x hp, and no more. so when you mod them it will cost $$$$$$$$$$$$arm$$$$$$leg$$$$$$$$$ and then some to make it run right.

the main selling point is the winter driveability. it soo much easier to get around with AWD then FWD. and on another note. my 2.2l accelerated much better through corners then teh jetta.

i hope she decides on the correct car.

before subaru i was a vw guy. yeah ill admit they're not the most reliable cars on the road but they are super nice comfortable cars.. as far as it being super expensive to mod VW's and not getting much power out of them. personally i think thats complete BS.

I was also a huge VW fan. If I could have afforded an R32 I might have purchased that over the WRX. But then I would've probably been able to afford and STI, which I would've purchased over the R32. Meh.
