I have some Prodrive springs on my car right now, they have about 8k on them. Changing things up alittle so these will be off the car next week when I get back from my trip. First $175.00 takes them. Lowers the car about 1" and im not sure which model's they fit.

Cut and pasted from the Prodrive website....

    "
To enhance the dynamic characteristics of the Subaru range, Prodrive has developed a range of chassis components. These are designed to deliver class leading levels of ride and handling, helping to deliver increased driving pleasure.

To further enhance the dynamic characteristics of the Impreza, Prodrive has developed separate high-performance spring kits for the STi and WRX models. Both kits are designed to work with the factory struts.

With the introduction of the re-rated springs, the car is lowered by approximately 25mm. The lowering of the centre of gravity leads to a reduction in body roll and gives improved high-speed handling, aerodynamic stability, traction levels and both steering response and weighting.

    Applications:

Fits all Impreza WRX and STi 01-07 models."

Go ahead and get them if you want. It is something I want to do eventually but I would like to get 17" wheels and tires first.

From what I gather, these only work for a MY05+ STI, which kinda makes me sad :(

'04 and '05 STi struts (the upper half anyway) look identical. They should fit any '04-'07 WRX or STi, providing you have the bigger struts to hold the springs in the correct place. STi's should have no issue, but the WRX's may not have the same spring seat.

I don't see why they won't work. From Prodrives site it says it does. How can I find this out since I have second dibs for them?

The quote says "Prodrive has developed separate high-performance spring kits for the STi and WRX models." The bit at the end - "Fits all Impreza WRX and STi 01-07 models" is referring to their line in general - they have springs for various applications. Look at a vendor like gtworx.com - they sell a WRX version and an STi version.

That said they will probably fit a WRX; whether it is a good idea to match them with the stock struts is another matter.

LOL... thats funny. I got their number lastnight and called them at work today. The rep I spoke with stated that your 05 springs will work on my 02 but I have to get 04-05 hats for the rear but the front are the same. So, let me know when you get them off your car so i can meet up with you and take a look at them.
