    Price: $1,000

1.) Brembo Brakes/Rotors (Yes they have brake dust on them, but they're pretty when clean!)
    2.) 04 STi knuckles
    3.) 04 STi Struts/Springs
4.) 04 STi lower control arms
5.) 1999 RS 2.5 Chassis (complete with rust weight savings) with clear title.
6.) New (but modified for an FMIC) V6 bumper, also has a few scratches on it.
    7.) New DS quarter panel.
8.) Rota Rims with some HTR II tires with about 30% tread left (probably another season)

Basically the chassis is free and you're getting a good deal on the brakes and STi suspension components. I lose money and you get a chassis to maybe build up or give to a scrapper on Craigslist. The key is my GF gets a place to park in the Winter and I can't have 2 GC8 chassis in my garage.

More info about the chassis. It NEEDs a flatbed (these are "cheap" to rent from ReddyRents down the street). It has 4 wheels yes, but the lower control arm isn't really connected to the front crossmember because the crossmember is out of a 93 L (An RS crossmember might work, might be better off buying a WRX one for $100 or so). With that said it's also missing a lot of parts, but you're getting it for free. This could definitely be a running car again on, I just don't have the patience for MN cars anymore, hence why I replaced it with one from Texas.

Bad: The chassis was in an accident about a year ago, almost 100% of the damage was on the crash beam, there was NO frame damage and the chassis is still fine. The pic is in the build thread.

*Added from later post*-Basically what you're getting is a chassis that was modified for a EJ255 Turbo swap with full interior, but since has had EVERYTHING torn out. I do have a GC8 wiring harness (actually two) that I can send with this chassis if people want that as a head start. I also have 93L interior parts as well if you want a dash to get started with. But this is missing the RS dash/interior. The only original interior pieces are the door cards, the A/B/etc. pillars and the head liner.

    Here's the chassis build thread:

This looks to be my old RS...unless someone else tried to blindly color match the rust spot with an obvious wrong color :(

Did you pick this up with Zombie around 2008?

    Either way, GLWS!

If it goes to part out or someone else picks it up.. I am interested in the passenger door, hood, and possibly the front bumper.

Would really like to buy the whole thing but $1500 is tough swing with all the expense associate with purchasing my house a couple months ago.. :frantic:

Let me see if I can find a "backer" for this adventure :)

gc8 I think I did buy it from a member with the UN zombie, was trying to look at my PM history but it wasn't in there. I did however buy it in 2010, so maybe it's not the same car.

If IT IS the same car, it went through a glorious transformation and was fast as hell. With that said though, I was thinking about pulling the parts off and having a scrapper come get it, but I figured with a clean title and a straight body she could live on to enjoy more driving.

Also someone buy this, it's a hell of a deal.

If I remember right, it was Zombie who PM'd me then you two came out to my house. That rear 1/4 with the off paint is the dead giveaway! Did it have bad piston slap on the stock motor?

gc8, not sure it was in St. Paul where I purchased it. He worked at a hospital or something I was at someone's apartment when I picked it up in St. Paul.

Assuming this has engine and chassis wiring intact; for a 2.5 AVCS setup?

No I should be more clear I fear. This chassis is literally a bonus to the parts you're getting. I would update my first post if I could because I've had a few misunderstandings.

It's still ready for an 02-07 WRX or STi dash tho? I have an 03 WRX dash/cluster/center console/steering wheel that would go lovely with this chassis when someone picks it up!;)

    GLWS!

It is! I have the whole cute for the new heater core and the middle section modified for the other beam, but the beam you have would need some slight modifications. Other than that it would be ready to go.

I'm all fine with it, I see it as free bumps :) I might have a guy coming out tonight to look at the car. I'm willing to work with people on this... I'm really surprised no one wants a free chassis with some Brembos and STi suspension components.

**If i was working and had the cash monies i would already own this bump.**

It would make a better platform for my 3.3L than my 4 door.;)
