For those of you with a warranty, do you take your cars to the dealerships for oil changes etc... or do you do it yourself? I would like to change my own oil but I dont know if it would cause problems if i needed to bring my car in for warranty issue. Thanks!

It's fine, just keep records so you can show that you've followed the maintenance intervals as far as oil changes go. We have plenty of customers who change their own oil.

My warranty is now expired, but I never once used it. The car has never been back to the dealership other than for me to stop in to buy parts on my own.

Mobil 1 5w30 SUPERSYN BITCHES! every 3k miles. It takes about 2 minutes to change oil on a suby :p (a little longer if the oil is cold)

Even with a warrenty I still do Oil change, Air filter, and Tranny oil change. It's cheaper; warrenty does not cover maintanace service unless you have a special package that covers maintanace service.
