getting rid of the flame thrower

    alright well i'm taking off my ssqv and was wondering if its a good idea to get the car retuned for the stock BPV if i were to throw that on. I know its a n00b question but please no flaming, just trying to get an answer. Thankyou

    yea if you want it. So i wasnt really planning on having the car retuned for a while so if i were to put the BPV back on would I be ok?

    yeah, fine unless the ssqrft_01 was leaking.
    a non leaking bpv would cause you to run leaner.
    the hks really shouln't leak, just watch your egt's.
    or get someone to double check your afr's under boost.

    I would throw it on there(bpv) and have it logged to see what #'s you're at.


    And wrexinator03, don't forget the additional 40 degrees you pick up on intake temps!:emo:
