What will the car be used for? DD or any competitive/spirited driving?

If you're doing any competitive or very spirited driving, Crawford AOS FTW. Yes, it's more expensive, but it actually works. The nice thing with a true air-oil separator (vs. just a regular catch can) is that it actually separates out the oil and dumps it back into the engine.

There is also the Grimmspeed AOS, but the Grimmspeed stops working under very spiriting conditions (the oil mix just follows the line back into the system). But for just a DD, I think you'll be fine.

Moroso makes a nice AOS too, but I haven't heard much about it yay/nay.

Mainly a DD as it is my only car I have, and probably wont have the motorcycle for long because of a potential buyer.

I can see myself going for a spirited drive once and a while, but nothing that would be on the regular.

This car has potential to become a project car in the future.

does the crawford model only support the STI's?

I think mostly it boils down to mounting location and hose lengths, not a magic widget inside of the AOS.

Right, it should fit WRX's as well. The main concern with fitment is the mounting location. You could ask RSD or Crawford to confirm.

When you're looking to protect your "investment", there is no point to taking the cheap way out, at least within a reasonable degree. But do some more research on the Grimmspeed AOS; that might be sufficient for you.

Given I have read the reviews on RSD about Grimmspeeds AOS is good, but that it is not able to handle spirited driving / track time. They is probably going to be a deal breaker for me since ill be making this car a track car in the near future.

so ill do some more research on the crawford aos. thanks guys.
