So im seeing how much interested there is in my injured wrx. After inspection the rear suspension only needs a new strut but to be honest it was blown haha. So other then the body work (rear left door, slight front end, mainly rear) it was a good running and driving car! 163k miles. Got lots of extras too As is asking $2500.
If you don't want to part it out and don't end up selling it here, you may want to try calling a junk yard and see if they are interested in buying it. I bought back my totaled Saabaru from the insurance company and called up Abco in Fridley. I dropped off the car and the keys, signed over the title, and they gave me a check. Quick and easy, but you won't get as much as if you part it or sell it here. glws and sorry to see another busted up subaru.
Price? Mileage? Manual or Auto? A better description of the rest of the cars condition? All of these would help you sell this. It may be a good donor for a GC conversion.
Stated 2500 on bottom of OP. Mileage is also stated at 163k. IT IS A MANUAL Car is great candidate for conversion as the trannsmission and engine are in good shape. Im willing to repair the strut for whatever it costs me to get the rear right strut or i can install 4 matching struts for any purchaser. Im pretty flexible and willing to help anyone interested out. As it sits, it needs the rear damage repair, side damage repair(rear left door), front needs a bumper and the strut needs replacement. i know the fluids all have been changed about a month ago. and two months ago, got a new battery, altenator and starter.
Car starts like a champ first crank. Battery has drained from trunk or door not closing but jumps right up. you can see few knicks on hood and front left headlight.. that all would buff out. Right headlight is NEW
Did you just not report it to insurance or was the agent drunk? The quarter damage alone would total it, between that and most likely frame damage under the left rocker and re-bar needing to be straightened. If you do consider parting out, what amount of tread is left on the tires and what condition are the rims in?
It was rammed on purpose so it hasnt been reported to my insurance. It hasnt been driven and barely moved.
Nothing to be unsure of.. story is clear and police report was taken. Without full coverage no need for insurance company to take care of this since its a criminal property damage. The party will write me a check for damages she did and not her insurance company. If you are interested, come check it out ill explain as much as I can and make me an offer
