I think everyone starts their ad with "I don't want to sell my subaru, but..." and it's true I love my wagon, she's taken me from Minnesota to Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, and back again, handling mountains, snow, deserts, and heat like a champ. Just wondering ... how did you manage to get 215/65/16 to fit with the WRX struts? Also, bump for a sweet ride!
Interested on what it took to do the lift. Is it just spacers and tiers? Iv been looking to do something like this to my wagon. You should pm me the info. Sorry Not trying to invade your f.s. thread.
I'm interested. My wrx was crushed by a tree tonight. Ill be in touch as soon as some of this gets sorted out.
That is harsh! Sorry to hear about your loss. I do have someone coming to look at it on Sunday. If it falls through you're welcome to come take a look. Again I'm sorry for your loss
It is just 1" paranoid fabrication spacers and 27" tires. No worries, I'd like to see more cars lifted !
Lifted cars rock. I have forester susp under my leggy. Stiffer ride, no body roll on turns... at like 60mph. No need to jack it up to change the oil! Glws
You loose some low end torque to get the big tires Turing, however once they are rolling there isn't much noticeable difference. This reminds me that the factory clutch was replaced with an Exedy OE replacement in september along with a light weight flywheel. Being taller does affect the cars center of gravity, which is offset by the use of 5mm wheel spacers. As far as MPG goes the larger tire gets better mileage on the hwy and the heavier tire gets mediocre mileage in the city.
