Well I didn't think i would ever put her up for sale, but unfortunately the time has come for me to think about selling my beloved STi. I am selling because I want to finish my Datsun and do some updates around the house Details below.

    2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
    Java Black Pearl
171,xxx miles (daily driver will go up 20 miles a day)
RS Tuned 409 AWHP 386 ft/tq (MAF tuned)
VERY Conservative tune, waste gate spring was not holding past 20 psi or so, we suspect the spring is only a 10-13 lb spring. Should have another 70-90 hp left in the set up, with a stronger spring.
Motor was built by Jeff Chang (Crystal_Imprezav on Nasioc) using small block chevy rod rod bearings. I dont know the full science behind this, but they have a larger surface area and are supposed to be a better bearing. The last i checked this is one of two or three that are currently up and running these bearings. I believe he is making over 700whp with his current engine and these bearings, they are tough! Like i said, I am not an expert on these, but if you have specific questions, i would be more than happy to ask Jeff Chang your questions. I got these bearings to make the motor as solid as possible.

I'm curious as to why you run Valvoline VR1 as opposed to the ever popular Rotella T-6 ?

Sent you a text pm and a text message. My plan wasnt to run the car in the winter, if i was going to run it in the winter, i would certainly run it with a block heater. The car has two tunes the first is the e85 tune for 409 whp, and the second is a very basic 91 oct tune that can be used in the winter if needed. Both tunes were done by Ron at RS motors.
