SOLD!!!!!!!!! http://www.newedgeperformance.com/progresssportspringsfor2008subaruwrxnon-sti.aspx (I want to know why they say it's not for the STi since I'm running STi pink springs on my car now.) Detailed Description The Progress Group, Inc. has developed new Sport lowering springs for the new platform used on the 2008 Subaru WRX. This Sport Spring set will lower your 2008+ WRX approximately 1.3 inches in the front and .8 inches in the rear (Your actual drop may vary due to options, etc.) Improve handling by lowering the center of gravity and increasing the spring rate. Improves the looks of your 2008 WRX by giving it more of a Tarmac Rally look! The springs are cold wound, shot peened, load tested, and include a lifetime warranty. Will NOT fit the 2008 STi!!!! For 2008 WRX ONLY!
i have a set of stock bumpstops id give u for the price of shipping if u chose to keep them and cut the bumpstops. they stops are from a 02 though not sure if they are the same stops.
That I'm not sure about. If I'm not mistaken, I think most 2.5i people use the suspension (struts, sways and such) from the WRX and STi. I wonder if anyone else can pipe in about this???? Maybe start a thread about it?
I'm hoping that they are interchangeable, as of now I have front and rear sway bars that were for a WRX, unless the dampers are completely different then they should fit. I just dont want a $120 mistake.
Only about 1.5" or half. I find it to be a bit excessive. Considering these only drop the car another half inch lower than the STi pink springs I already have. I would only cut maybe an inch.
I even have spring compressors if someone needs to borrow them. I might even be able to drink you're booze and supervise.
