i know that saab like the back of my hand for the most part!! when i baught it, it was 2.1 na, after a year i added a te05 turbo with side mount and only ran 5psi. car was only *raced* maybe 3 times, and the motors are pretty industrucable. anyone who buys it should by my 83 saab lol, also boosted. the 91 only has the motor now no turbo, but could easily be boosted agian and a tranny swap only take about a day to do!! has a trailer hitch and all the glass is in pretty good shape, leather is in good shape, headliner is shot. i put about 1k into oem parts only on that car. would be pretty good for a motor swap or i winter drive once fixed. these cars are very easy to work on and parts are pretty cheap as well.
thought i'd help you out izzy!! pics when i first got it. you can fit a twin size bed in the back, ignition between the seats, and the motor sits backwards.
Bump, and a add 03 Kia Spectra GSX, 1.8 auto, good little car, needs exhaust manifold (runs drives just loud) will add pics soon $3500, good beater/starter car
I had a 1990 saab 900 S a few years ago. I got it from a friend for 100$ it didn't have an exhaust so we rigged one up. the ignition was shot so we had to start it with a screw driver for a while until we rigged up some switches and a push button start. the sunroof motor was fried so i ripped it out and bolted a door knob to the sunroof so i could pull it open. the shifter wasn't on there when i bought it so i Jimmy rigged that thing together and made a custom boot to fit it. and to top things off I lowered it by heating up the springs with a cutting torch while my buddies sat on the trunk. It was slaaammed. If i had some extra cash laying around i would buy this car in a heartbeat.
