91,xxx miles Prior salvage title Was in a front end collision and swung the rails. That took out the exhaust cam pulley on the drivers side and broke the drivers side timing belt cover front and back. I have taken the exhaust manifold and intake manifold off to look at the valves and everything looks in order no bent valves  I have everything to finish the project except for the timing belt covers, the pulley and timing belt kit. I am also in the process of locating a new passenger fender. I have purchased so far: replacement: radiator, headlights, bumper beam also have a new Oem Clutch kit i will include. I have located and will be purchasing a new front clip (rails and core support), hood, subframe/engine support. S3 Auto quoted me a price of $1000 to cut off damaged front end and install the new core support and rails. $5,000 ob (that will include everything except, p. fender and t-belt stuff) any questions feel free to ask. PLEASE If your not interested move along... Jordan 763.213.4499
lol at the gm flexfuel badge. and if i had the money i would so take it to replace some of the parts on my car. gl man.
bump! Looks like I will be keeping this one.... it should be going into S3 within the next few weeks.. feel free to stop me btw. I have all the parts except timing belt kit, pulley, and passenger fender to make this resurrection happen.
All I'm going to say is good luck. That front frame rail is destroyed, they might be able to pull it straight, but I don't know that you'll get your frame straight no matter how much work they do on it.
They would be able to pull that no problem jason. Its just not worth it thus the vehicle was totaled out.
actually they would only pre-pull it .. if that. I just bought new rails and inner fender basically the whole inner frame from Dan Moore off of his white wrx. S3 will cutout the damage and splice the new front end on. They use the factory spliced seams so you can't even tell... The only problem with pulling is it ccan be almost impossible to get the lines to match so that is why they pre pull and then splice into it. Its amazing what they can do. The car had a prior salvage title when i purchased it (before the accident with 52k miles and drove fantastic) The previous owner bought it with 500 miles and repaired the damage and had it inspected, etc...
