GI/FS: STI 6sp Transmission Swap

Still up in the air but I have 2 sti 6 speed trannies. Considering selling the 04 tranny. Tranny and rear diff (r160) were rebuilt within the last 10k miles. Would rather sell as a package,but willing to split up. This tranny came in my project car that I recently purchased...seems the tranny was previously owned by 4drcivicmaster, so hopefully he can chime in if there are any questions related to the rebuild.

6sp Transmission 3.90 drive ratio (tranny, slave cyl, clutch fork) $3000 obo

ACT HD Pressure Plate and 6 puck sprung disc with good life $300 obo

R160 rear diff 3.90 ratio $200 obo

Impreza A/T Driveshaft $125 obo

Brand New GroupN tranny mount $65 obo

Buy all 3 for $3500 obo

Also have this if it goes into an 08+ wrx or 05-09 LGT:

Brand New SPT shift linkage assembly $375 obo

Yes, this is the transmission out of my 04 sti. I broke 4th gear, so (Blake) the guy you bought your project car from had the trans gone through. I don't know everything they replaced.

 

Is it just the DCCDpro controller? Or do you have the switches too?

 

Looks like it was rebuilt by Matt Zawada...ill try to get more details on what was replaced

The controller comes with switches so it'll work but if you want the factory sti switches then that's extra on their site. .. or you can buy them from subaru and wire them yourself

 

Ok Here's the update. ..new syncros/bulk rings and 4th gear everything else was fine

Details on the a/t impreza drive shaft? What years does that fit?

 

I'd assume it fits all 02-13 imprezas using a 6sp/r160 but 02-07 for sure

 

It's a larger range then that. But also not sure for positive. Also is not limited to just impreza some older foresters and legacys work to.
