Ive been able to track down the Part # for a set of JDM rear spats for the Impreza GC8. The price would be $133.80 W/tax. The kit comes with everything you will need to attach them to your RS, but they do not come painted. Part is actually for the Japanese bumper, not the Type II US, Canadian versions. Some modifications required. Japanese directions included for ease in installation.

Let me know if your interested.

Do us a favour and find the part # for the ones that fit the USDM 2.5RS bumpers without having to be 'modified'. I'll be first in line to buy a set.

what is the difference between the bumpers. I thought the only thing that was different was the bump strip or what ever that thing is. Still i'm interested but let me think about it first.

Hmmm, I thought it was a v2 bumper that we had. It'd be really nice to know for sure.

The difference we're concerned about is in the underside. One is a little squarer, the other a little rounder. As such, there's a bit of trimming involved to get the readily available v5/v6 spats to fit flush with a USDM bumper.

They fit OK. There's just a bit of a gap. SUV-ETR has a set on his blue 2000 RS. They look fine from a distance, but for my car, I want a set that fit properly. They must be out there somewhere.

I have a set of v5/6 rear spats on mine, the where genuine Subaru parts. everything fits fine until you get to the ends closest to the middle of the bumper, the you have to do a little customization and they don't every fit perfect, well at least I have never seen a set that have been modified in such a way that it sits perfectly.

These are in... they do fit... with some modifications... The instructions really do not help. But if your looking for a set right now. I have these here for sale.

*needs to be painted to match*
