My wife hit a deer with her RS the other night and the insurance is going to total it out. It's got 194k miles on it (90k on motor) and is a 5spd. The car was kinda beat up before the deer, and the insurance company estimated a $700 buyback. I'm not sure if there would be any interest in this thing to make it worth my while buying it back....the motor has a noise between 3000-3500rpms, unconfirmed cause, but it's been running fine for 5-6k miles like that. it also had a clutch/head gaskets/timing belt about 7-9K ago... lmk if there would be any interest in this thing, If I had the time/space for it I'd turn it into a real ice race car...
I'll try to get a few more pictures of the car up in the AM, my camera is broken and I'll have to have the wife take some and post them. The deer rolled down the passenger side so the quarter/door are smashed up too.
It has the typical quarter rust, just surface at this point, trunk has a dent, rust starting to come back above the windshield...
I'm probably going 22b to fix my quarters. still interested in the car. Are you looking to get the buyout price for it?
That's an L bumper, the previous owner had a nasty fiberglass fake JDM front bumper that was shattered. Yes I'm looking to get the buy back, else I'll just let them take it.
lol. My coworking is talking about buying that shell for the interior and wiring harness for the RSVX that he just bought from Colin........
The interior is pretty haggard, honestly the best parts left that I didn't take before insurance took it are the clutch/tyranny
