I have in my possession BC Racing Coilovers. I have used them this spring until this fall. Used for a 2day track event at Brainerd, seen about 17laps of BIR. They have NOT seen salt, just sand from the road and daily driving. Yes they have seen rain as well. They are still on the car. I need to find stock suspension to put on unless my car can sit with someone's stock suspension until the new setup comes in .... haha.

BC Racing coilovers Type BR (non-inverted)
    8kg/mm front AND rear
    30 position adjustable
front camber plates, NO rear camber plates, you can buy from ImportImage; Josh

Height is adjusted and they where corner balanced to my car via AlignmentGuy. They will more than likely run decent on your Impreza unless you corner balance them to YOUR car.

    $800 firm.

Here's a pic of the height how they make the car sit. Tires are 235/40/17 RT615s.

Most subaru suspensions are setup with a heavier front spring, to cope with the heavier front end of the car.

the other reason this setup is more common, is safety. the heavy front spring rate with a lighter rear will often promote understeer before oversteer... and companies tend to go with this option to help inexpericened drivers learn.

Evening out the spring rate will make the car rotate much better under power. This setup would be good for road racing.

8kg/mm setup!!! This is what makes the car handle the way it does. Springs help keep body roll to a minimum. You don't have to mess with stiff sways bars anymore.
