some idiot just grabbed my girlfriends purse and ran off, got into a mid 90's nissan altima she thinks, she's pretty good with cars, they then turned around and tryed to run her over and she moved quick and grabbed the driver side door but they were going fast enough that she did like 2 flat spins and her glasses fell off, all this time she was on the phone with me, I made it from old downtown Stillwater to Woodbury rainbow where this happens in 10 minutes, it should be a 30 to 40 minute drive, I'm so upset right now I can't even think, when I got there the cops were there and she warned them about me, I'm not a violent person anymore, I'm pretty. Laid back however I'm 6'5 and 300lbs and look mean when upset so the cop tryed to calm me down I'm not trying to be a tuff guy but picking on a girl just irks me to no end. I'm sorry but I have to be up at 5am for work I just really needed to vent for a minute, thanks for listening to me vent my frustration

That's too bad. People=$h!t. "They" say that people on cell phones are targets because they're not paying attention to their surroundings. The sad thing is, that we have to...due to d-bags who do stupid shizer like this. Glad she's ok.

Glad she came out unhurt. Hopefully she isn't shaken up too badly.

Make sure she calls her credit card companies to let them know. Might want to go down to the DMV and see what they suggest for her license/ID. And she may want to talk to the credit bureaus to put a fraud alert on her SSN.

Speaking of SSN, please tell me that nobody here is dumb enough to carry their SS card in the wallet or purse...

When I had my wallet stolen, it took all of 2 hours to call credit card companies, Wells Fargo, and go to the DMV to get a new license. It really sucks, but if she didn't have any cash, then she pretty much didn't lose anything. Well, I guess girls carry their lives in their purses, so she might've lost more...I dunno

The worst part for me was I lost my World Beer Tour card from Old Chicago :(

At least she had her cell phone! I would have been devastated if I that happened and then I had no phone to call anyone. I can't believe that happened in Woodbury!!

That's a scary thing, I'd be so pissed if I were her. Who does that? Seriously, get a life.

What Rexi said, Woodbury? Cmon, I would have never suspected it from that area... I had always thought of Woodbury as a suburbia like Eden Prairie... yikes

lol, crimes happen in Eden Prairie, the Police and the city just work diligently to cover it up and hide it

Do people honestly think there is absolutely no crime in suburbs?

It's not that crime doesn't exist in suburbs, that is foolish. It's that crimes such as face to face robbery.... on foot... don't happen near as much as the city.

You mean Hoodbury? My sister was a corrections officer in Washington county. Trust me, there is crime there. Same as everywhere else.

Hoodbury is right. 2 different Subways have been robbed at gunpoint, the bank in that rainbow has been robbed 3-4 times, the Verizon wireless was held up by some crazy with a gun and swat stormed the building (I saw that one). Way back in the day when I worked at the Circuit city, we had DAILY car alarm and radio installs after peoples cars got busted into at the theater.
