Order those two part numbers from RockAuto.com. You'll also need about 6 feet (buy 8) of 5/32" ID vacuum line, two wire taps, some electrical tape, and a few zip ties.

I AM looking at doing this, because I don't have a WRX one. I was wondering what the benifits are if I where running 15psi target boost levels only???? This way I don't have to worry about getting one LATER when I can do all my wire splicing etc right now. Yes, then a tune.

I have always been told you will boost faster due to the design. After my tune I did see an increase in the speed at which boost came on.... around 500 rpm sooner. Some of that might be tune. My understanding is that the stock one leaks with the onset of boost and the Gm one is more like an on off switch.

Is the GM BCS able to hold the boost or will it taper off boost like the stock system OR is this with the stock parameter stuff on the boost target and load stuff?

^ This has more to due with turbo size, injector flow, and tune. I can hold 22psi to redline. A TD04 w/ stock injectors, however, will not.

    Actually, a TD04 won't with any injectors.;)

The GM one can hold higher boost levels because it applies more vacuum to the wastegate actuator than the stock bleed system does when the wastegate is supposed to be closed. The greater difference is how quickly boost comes on. You will see much higher 1st gear boost with a 3-port system such as the GM one.
