I haven't seen any new posts up here on Pulley's.

I used to have a 98 Grand Prix GTP and was starting to mod it out before the old hag took an illegal left turn into me and totalled it... lol

But, one thing GP boys would always talk about is getting smaller pulley's for more HP.

    Any and all thoughts please...

    Don't waste your time.

And you should thank the lord that you aren't modding a Grand Prix anymore. :p

Lightweight crank pulleys are generally ok, but most of what I've read about underdrive pulleys on subarus is negative. Nasioc would have tons of opinions to read.

Now, you are talking about the pulley for the accessories (ac, ps, alt), right? If the GTP is supercharged, then a small pullery for the supercharger is a totally different thing and doesn't apply at all to subarus.

Great thanks guys, that all makes sense! The only thing I miss about my grand prix is the car was wide as all hell so winter and rain driving was easy... But it was FWD, so far my WRX destroys with its AWD! And yes, the GP was SuperCharged...

Second ?.... Difference betweena SuperCharger and a Turbo?

Correct me if I'm wrong, a SC, from a stop kicks in ASAP as soon as you hit the gas. A Turbo ether needs to be high RPM'd from a stop, or take a few seconds to kick in...

    What are the other Differences?

And I heard no NOOB calling here :)

A lightweight pulley on the NA cars gets rid of a hesitation at around 4000rpm, which is nice. I have a UR pulley on mine, which I think is underdriven, too. I haven't had any issues.

pulleys will NOT help, please don't waste your money, if you want that car(i know that engine of course);) to get a little more pep-I'd get it re-tuned by tom(if he still does it) or buy some race gas and tune for that...little cheap mods will not help that engine anymore-its past that point:( its too fastear!!
