check this out, a Subaru pulls an 18-wheeler out of the snow... http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/20/...baru-wrx-sti-tows-semi-out-of-snow/#continued
it didn't look all that stuck, it probably just needed a little help. Out at my parents farm i've pulled out a huge combine out of a muddy field with my f-350 which out weighs my truck by a long shot, it just needed that little boost of help.
My guess is the truck was just stuck on a slick spot and was spinning the wheels. A little tug from the almighty Subaru was all it needed to get free. Had it been more stuck.... the Subaru still would have gotten it out. Its the advantage of having the V7 STi
I think that ridiculous spoiler helped create 5 thousand pounds of downforce to give it better traction.
I pulled out a UPS truck with my wrx once... then the guy managed to get it stuck again just a little down the road and we broke my tow rope
alright my truck wasn't stock, and needed a lot more than a little boost but i moved it anyways
