This isn't intended to be an event: just a lil' meet. I'm heading out there with Tbone to have my winter tires mounted/balanced and maybe get an alignment if time permits. I need to talk to Nathan if he would like me to bring pizza for his services. If anyone wants to stop by Shakopee's favorite Mieneke and shoot the ****, Tbone and I will be there around 4-5 PM (depending on snowstorm traffic).
Nathan actually helped me out by adding another gasket to my current one between the downpipe and the catback. I've inserted a ghetto-ized aluminum spacer in between to further prevent exhaust leaks because there was still a gap on the upper part of the flange mating. Even today, I got a small leak out of there. It's really up to Nathan on how much the charge will be. Maybe between $40 to $0??? That's why I'm gonna try to bribe him with pizza or something.
i will have to see what i am up to tommorow afternoon. if i have nothign going on (very possible) i will try and show up. i love blowing past people that are going like -5mph in the snow. i might need an alignment or atleast an alignment check.
hey guys.... love to have people down, but tomorrow isnt such a great day if people want to shoot the sheyat.... we have a staff meeting as soon as we close... 6pm... we havent organised one since we opened the business and it is time to take hold of this baby and make us some money so I can actually afford to give some services away to all you cheap as MNSUBARU people.. he he he spoken with FOng.. he knows the time restraints.. whether he understood them I dont know... alignments are definitely out of my league and something that would have to be an appointment job... exhaust stuff I can usually work out and I have a guy working PT who is really into custom exhausts and his brother has taught him and has been in magazines.. apparantly has done heaps of wrx exhausts around Belle Plaine... didnt knwo there was any... so I am gonna hook up with him sometime to find out soem details as apparantly there is an awesome exhaust out htere thats not expensive and gives great results... personally I think the one I built kicks ass.. spool is awesome especially in 5th for a stock wrx and the sound is nice...
ok, since the time seems to be an issue i prolly wont show up. it would be fun to have another get together at the shop though. the first one was a blast and a half.
Don't worry. It's not the last time I'm gonna flirt with my FXT at Nathan's shop. My all seasons are waiting for another remounting and balancing session in the spring.
Got back from Meineke a few hours ago. Thank you tons for the service, Nathan! I hope the pizza was bribe enough. AWD 101 , it was nice that you stopped by as well. How was your ride home in your Azenis tires??? Tbone, did you get that entertainment we were talking about when you got home? Also, did you finish your license plate cover yet?
The service I got was only remove my tires from the wheels, speaking off the exhaust I might asked ben or bryan mntk subaru to look at it. Nate: Thanks to removing the tires from my wheelz and keep us warm under your gerage. BTW N1c3 job on your wrx DYI exhaust set up. AWD101: Thanks for eating our Pizza and soda. Once again, on friday I will bring the gumball 3000 to firestone. Pmed me Fungus: Thanks for writing on my spoiler at the Opus last night. I had the wipe it off cuz it was still THURR. Next time you will going to drive behind me and smell my ROTTON EGGS!!!! I have a perfect license plate set up just for you to read.
