Gold wheels on a silver car??

I've got a 03 wrx wagon and there is someone selling some 18 inch tarmac 2's with tires for $800 but my car is PSM (silver) and was wondering if anyone else had this color combo and if it looked gaudy or if it was unique and the hotness? Post up pics if you got them.

I won't add any pics because you already seem to have enough...but I, and all of my car buddies, like my silver STi with goldies. I too was a worried at first...but I've grown to really like it. Do it!

 

sssweet, i was hoping to see Gold/Bronze on a silver too. Might consider Bronze on my 02 Silver. Looks better then I thought. Not much people have Gold/Bronze on their car.

 

wasn't a believer till I saw those pics the other day... maybe I will have to paint mine gold...

gold and silver

I got the GC a door and was considering getting the 5 spoke gold GC wheels but mine is silver. any opinions on wether it would look tacky on that body style I cannot decide

 

2.5rs has some bronze painted stockers that look pretty nice... I want to do that to my stockers for my winter setup!!! :yumyum:

 

I am rocking just that for my winter setup. Love it.

of course, silver is pretty low on my list to begin with. but I love gold wheels!

 

I like the gold, but prefer the dark bronze on silver body. That said, I have silver 07 WRX stockers and silver 04 STi BBSs. The stockers may be headed to the powdercoater for my winter set up.

 

Anyone know what shade of gold is on that wagon in the second picture? It looks darker... Those are a way better color than the other lighter gold wheels, the other's look almost faded next to those ones. Must have that color!!:yumyum: Or does anyone happen to know what wheels they are? Could probably find the color that way...
