I just recently moved to the Eden Prairie area, and was wondering where a good chinese buffet is --- especially one with a Mongolian BBQ.

I don't really feel like driving across the city to go to the Great Moon everytime I get the urge for some General Tso's chicken :p

I'm not a fan of Great Moon or Grand Buffets. If the chowmein doesn't suck, then the fried rice does.

The only two chinese buffets I go to are Panda Garden in Roseville (Larprenteur + Lexington) and Buffet King close to the airport off of 7th st. in St. Paul. The food isn't tasteless and the drinks are included.

Yeah, I guess I should've said that I'm looking for a place on the westside of town.

I've been to the Khan's in Roseville, and it's pretty good. They don't have all of the other good stuff that your typical China buffet will have, though.

Hey, I am in the E.P. area. There is a good chinese restaurant off of Hwy 5 and Prairie Center Drive. It's in the mini shopping area by Rainbow Foods. The place is called New Beijing. I have eaten there many times. The buffet is alright...not the best. But if you order from the menu there are some really good stuff.

There's a good buffet on 35w and 84th street (I think it's 84th).. just west of the 35w. They have 3 long table in the buffet of food, and separate for dessert. 80 cents for free refill soda too.. not bad :)

all I have to say about khans is..... HELL YEAH!

I also live in EP, but my sister in law is from the Shaolin provence of china. Her take on it is. that she has only been to 3 chinese resturants here, and a bunch of american places that serve chinese like food :p.

Mandrin house (or something like that) just south of Sawatee on lyndal. They actualy do dimsung (sp?) there on sunday morning. Just take old shockope there. Takes like 15 min from bear path. The buffet next to cub on france and old shockope is also decent actual chineese food.
