Good Credit Unions in SW Metro Area

I'm trying to get my sister into a good CU. She works in EP and lives in Jordan. I've already looked into CCFU but am looking for other CUs that most anyone can join.

I think Soo Line Credit Union is accepting people from Scott County. Call the Salvage office and talk to Debra. She has taken care of me and my family for a long time.

 

Teacher? Last I heard, you don't have to be an edu employee to get an account there anymore.

 

Their website says any resident or worker in EP can get in. And no, she's not a teacher.

 

Think bank by Southdale used to be a credit union, they recently switched to be an actual back, but I think they still have pretty good rates. And no particular membership requirements. Maybe something to compare, anyway.

 

Topline CU (closest branch in Plymouth) just have to work/worship/live in Hennipen County.

 

There's a really nice one on the CoRd 42 and 13 in Savage. Really good rates and such there. I used to do alot of business with them when I worked at Advance.

I have teachers fcu. I don't even live in the cities! And I'm not a teacher. When I bought my car from the dealership they told me to give a name of a family member who works for the u of m. or to make one up! They don't check to see if its true, they want your business. And actually I think my news letter said a couple of months ago that they are changing that so anybody can join now. They have Excellent rates and give multi car discounts that are really good!
