While people are stuck trying to get out of their unplowed driveways and on little hills, I have zero problems.

    Thank you Subaru.

I think we got hit harder with snow then anticipated.

Where did it all come from? Given the poor performance yesterday I figured we wouldn't get much today. I guess I should pay more attention to the weather.
Unfortunately for me I was out all morning shoveling the driveway before the wife got home from work. We had over a foot at the bottom of the driveway thanks to the plows.
Even with all the weight that comes with a MY13 Explorer I doubt she would have made it up the driveway.

Had no problems in my 4runner on all season tires or moving my rx7 with winter tires. Getting into the rx7 (plows pushed snow halfway up the window) was another issue.

Our problem is that we can't trust our weather man.

Weather man stated that on Monday morning we were going to get 3" of snow. All I got was a dust of flakes.

This morning, I think I had more then a 10" of snow in my driveway.

It's all my fault. I thought I could shovel the few inches we got last night at 10PM or so and be done with it. Big surprise this morning ... yay snow blowers!

yep with a spare on I was still going 60 while the rest of the world was moving at 40, and going up that hill out of Golden Harvest parking lot was a piece of cake, while I watched over and over cars going nowhere there.

While it wasn't Ideal, the Jag with no seasons worked fine, only got stuck once, wayyy too steep of an incline and snow. Also, long ass cars can hold drifts forever. I was tempted to drive my impreza, but Like I told a buddy of mine the other day, why would you want to go from banging ava mendez to a homless meth addicted woman, if you didnt have to?

District 11 canceled school today, which never happens, I decided to stay home with my Daughter and watch cartoons all day!

^I live in that district also, only second or third time I can remember they have cancelled in 15 yrs.

My honda had no issues today, but AWD would be way more fun. Also spotted a red 2dr impreza (dark red) exiting 3rd st onto 94 east this morning, dude was flying. (only car that was going as fast as me, well faster)

Yeah! I went to school in district 11, my Mom was a teacher for 30 years in district 11 and my Daughter goes to school in the district now. I got the call at 5:50 this morning and didn't bother even looking out the window. I figured if they closed down it had to be pretty damn bad.
