Hey guys, I searched around and didn't see this covered anywhere.

Who do you recommend for window tinting in the MSP area, I'm in Maple Grove so NW area is bonus, but willing to travel for a good, reliable tint shop.

    Thanks for the info.

I searched just the word "tint"...166 hits. Some unrelated stuff to look through but not entirely overwhelming.

Chris at flawless. Did two cars for me in 1 day back to back at a very very good price. He is also extremely knowledgeable in the different types of films and will steer you in the proper direction for your car.

I know a few people( including myself) that went to Ziebarts in Fridley. Good installers plus lifetime warranty if needed.

Bravo in wayzata is by far the best. Great guys fast service. Iv had 7 cars tinted by them and send everyone incan their way. I had one issue with a few bubbles (mostly cause i had it tinted in neg weather they wouldnt dry up propperly) they redid my window on the spot and its perfect like the rest of them.

Im also saying they have done 6 other cars before thst that were flawless. And when i say bubbles there were two. Iv very picky with my cars. Also they do the tint on many high end exotics around the cities. Their work and quality stands out for its self.

Sun Control of MN did my LGT and did a great job. No bubbles, perfect fit, and they gave me a deal for being referred by someone else.

It's also worth noting that Chris at Flawless is an MNsubaru member, vendor, and supporter.
I took one of my previous vehicles to Sun Control and I had the tint on one window start pealing within 2 weeks and another window had a scratch from day one. I took it back to Sun Control and they fixed it at no charge with no questions asked. So I can't say anything bad about Sun Control. However I've always had a good experience with Chris, so I continue to bring my business to him.

I know each vehicle is different, but anyone care to share what they paid? Or give me and the rest of us an idea of prices...

What I've been told, it depends on number of windows and difficulty of the rear window. You can go on Chris' thread and request a quote or pm/email him.

I have been debating about ceramic or not, I like the the solar reflective properties of the ceramic, but wasn't sure about the aesthetics. Are you pretty satisfied with the look? Mind if I ask what the price was?

Anyone talked to Chris recently? Tried the email in the Vendors section - bounced back. Tried the phone number and left a message the other day. No call back? Thanks!

Btw still at the tint and doing paint protection. Precut clear bra patterns on the spot. Text is by far the best way to get a quick response. I am a very busy guy but love to help.
