lets ride sometime.. I have some buddies with rockets too... Me: TL1000R Buddy: CBR955RR B-Inlaw: Honda Blackbird Buddy: Ducati ?? cant remember which Buddy: TL1000S
this reminds me (if i may get off-off-topic for a sec) I was jumping on 94W from Snelling Sat. morning at 1:45ish AM and was passed by 2-3 dozen bikes (rockets) owning the road - it was pretty cool. I chased 'em for a little ways just to see where they were going, but headed home after they got west of 35W southbound. probably a local club, but who knows what kind of croud. just thought i'd share
I want a bike. My friend Lindsay (SHE'S ON THIS BOARD AND SHE SHOULD SAY HELLO, SHE'S GOT A 2.5RS!!) has a bike. I want to learn.
ide let you ride mine, but its brand new...so you can learn on another bike tell her to speak up! we need ACTIVE women members...and i dont mean sexually active  (well maybe a little)
That's what I told her, too. Her name on here is Lindsay138. If anything, she needs to AT LEAST post the awesome pictures she has of the 2.5RS at the top of Pike's Peak!! We rode her little 80cc dirt bike up and down the road but she said that was harder to ride than her rocket. She also said that when she went to get her motocycle license that most of the people taking the test (she actually went and did a class and took the test on one of THEIR bikes instead of trying to use her rocket) had never even rode a bike before. So I think I just need to go and get my permit and start saving some money!!!
It's just a written test, right? And then what... you can't ride on the highway, you can't ride after dark, you can't have a passanger, and you have to wear a helmet? Wellllllllll. Now I just need to find a bike that is my size. Hahaha. I could barely keep the 80 up on my tip toes.
get a 600rr the seat is lower or if you get up to the upper cc's i prefer the gxsr 750. like the looks and the seat is not too high. or older cbr954
[qoute] She also said that when she went to get her motocycle license that most of the people taking the test (she actually went and did a class and took the test on one of THEIR bikes instead of trying to use her rocket) had never even rode a bike before. So I think I just need to go and get my permit and start saving some money!!![/quote] When I went for my licence I had had my permit for like 2 weeks and I got mine on my TL1000R... big bike to take a test on.. got it though.. JUST!! ha ha
excetp when I lay on my back and then you would think you were in Paris looking at the Eiffel tower.. wink wink...
Your bike is the same color as Lindsay's. She's got a SV650. I love the way her bike sounds. Where the hell is she and why has she not posted yet?!
Your junk is shaped like the eiffel tower? Gross, you should have that looked at. I used to have a souvenir eiffel tower and that doesn't look like anything I would want attached to my body.
Plus, who uses something French to describe their hog? If anything I would have picked a baguette or something like that. At least it isn't made of rusty ass rigid steel.
I had a friend in California that rode an R6. She was like 5 feet tall on a good day. She had her bike modified so it rode lower to the ground, they altered her forks and did something to the rear suspension, but the bike looked tiny when she was done with it. You could check around and see about doing that. If I find her number, I'll call her and ask what she did to it.
what size is the bike. 600cc 636cc 1100cc. wheelies are fun. until your looking straight up to the sky.
