Hey guys look out for this trick. My car was broken into last night and I got my ipod, gps, and radar detector stolen right outside my apartment porch. They did something to cut the bottom of the right front window and since the imprezas have no top rail, it comes right out without setting the alarm off. This was in Milwaukee where I go to school
Looks like you've got window tint so it'll hold the glass together and keep it from coming apart. We have a glass cutting tool that'll do a window right quick on the department, I'm sure there are plenty of tools that'll do the same thing. Quick, fairly quiet and won't set off the alarm. Sorry to see this happen, that really sucks.
Question, did you have your items lying around in plain sight? If so, then I would assume you were the victim of an easy target. If they were well hidden or put away in the glove box and locked I'm sure they would of moved onto the next vehicle. I don't ever leave anything of value in my car, and if I do, it goes in my glove box locked up, that is where I keep my AP. Still, sorry to hear man.
Kids tried to get into our H6 swap by pushing the unlock button when i swapped my black door onto it. Didn't work and they then decided to break the window. They came to my wagon to find the red door on my wagon and smashed the window after figuring out that the power locks don't work. Lol They popped the hood on my wagon to find a RED intake manifold instead of a RED VTEC valve cover.
