I want to order the Intake Silencer delete elbow, i went right to Gp Moto's website and think I will order from them, anyone ever delt directly with them, or is there a place to get it local. I would rather not wait.

The ID of that elbow is smaller then stock... just an FYI. I was also looking at those until I read/saw that.

But you gain a little from removing the silencer dont you, i awasnt thinking there would be a gain, I just wanted a little more turbo noise.

You gain noise. The ID of the GP elbow is smaller so you lose potential flow. Will that hurt you? Not sure. Why pay for something smaller and take the chance?

I just think losing all that distance thru the silencer, would make up for a little less ID, I read on NAISOC, that people feel a little gain, not trying to argue just discusing.

That unit is completely hollow on the inside. Like I said before, are you hurting anything? Not sure. I haven't seen logs saying it does. I'm simply not paying that high a price for something that's smaller.

and I have seen logs that say it doesn't effectively chance anything you can perceive. Its just a nice way of removing the snorkel cleanly. If you care about ID a lot then get a hacksaw, cut off the stock elbow and duct tape up the hacksaw hole then bam: megahorsepower
