any recommendations on a handheld gps priced under $250? I just started looking at them and have no idea what's good and what's not.

I don't want the tom tom style, I want a true handheld type gps (like the traditional garmin look)

Ive got a garmin etrex. I like it a lot. I'd think about parting with it for $100 if you're interested, as I dont think its something I will be needing for the next few years. I believe its in storage with my hiking gear, but I can dig it up. :yumyum:

I think the base model...not sure ill look into it when i go to storage to pick up my jeeps title

    In hindsight I think I spent $150, maybe $160.

If you're still interested when I find out the model, we could do $80. I used it 3 or 4 times, and dont want to charge someone more than half for used stuff.

Shoot me a pm and I'll find you the model number and everything else you need to know.
