Give me a steak, chicken, burgers, pork tenderloin, etc and I give you a delicious grilled treat...but I've never really tried pork chops. That ends this weekend but instead of looking up random marinades online I thought I'd reach out to the local Subaru community for some culinary advice.

Anyone have any awesome marinade recipes for grilling pork chops?

I'm making shogayaki later today. Works well on the grill. Super easy. Soy sauce, grated ginger, and mirin.

Otherwise for grilling/smoking I usually do a dry rub with an assortment of pepper powders (cayenne, white pepper, etc) then glaze with honey the last 15minutes.

Ginger, tumeric, green onion, white wine vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper marinade is good too.

    You ever brine your pork?

I love the weekends. Cooked 22lbs of meat last weekend. Probably just do 15 this week. Got a lot of egg whites I need to use up.

Went with a simple recipe I found online since I had all the ingredients. Olive oil, lemon pepper, soy sauce, & garlic...marinated for about 5 hours and turned out really well.

That's a good idea. FWIW, the leftovers make good sandwiches :)
