We are going to be needing a test bunny(wrx or sti) here in the next few days for some new TRUE phenolic intake manifold spacers we might add to our product line. the manufacturer is sending us a prototype for us to test out.

For temperature testing I just would like to see some readings take before and after on the intake manifold:

    - Warm the car up to normal operating temperature.

    - Drive the car on a designated route that includes some highway driving at the end.

    - Pull it over after the highway driving and let it idle with hood closed for X minutes.

    - Shut it down, pop the hood.

    - Immediately take some infared thermometer readings at 2 or 3 pre-designated spots on the intake manifold.

    - Later on... install the spacers and repeat the procedure as closely as possible, hopefully at a similar outside temperature (and record the outside temps too).
