Grove Creek 1/8 mile Drag July 22

    Hey i thought i'd let everyone know that the grove creek track is having one of there open drag racing nights this saturday. I'm planning on goign and it would be cool to see some other subaru's there. It's an 1/8th mile track to its pretty easy for us to whore it up :).

    grove creek is west of the cities on hwy 12. Its about 5 miles west of litchfield.

    been here, you pretty much get as many runs as you want because NOBODY knows about it.

    I think I'll be out there. then I'll see what a stock impreza "L" can do on the track. :biggrin:

    you guys should have came. dream you probably would have had the fastest car there. I ran a 8.7 @ 80.8 mph and I had about the 7th fastest car there. the fastest my brother saw who was watching the whole time was a 7.5.

    Launching is always hard on the tranny but you must slowly engage the clutch when launching to prevent bogging and wheelhop. What were your 60' times?

    mostly 1.8's and 1 1.9. That was the first time i had ever launched my sti, i had launched my wrx well over 100 times though. damn half wet tires.
