GT3 at Vic's place DEC 11th see 1st post for info

    We'll be having a GT3 (PS2) driving battle at Vic house on December 11th from 11AM to 3 or 4PM. Those who are interested give him a call for directions and/or questions.

    We're going to try a couple types of racing styles.

    "Touge/Initial-D" style racing at Deep forest with Sports tires and max tuned cars. Cars are tuned fully. I know there are going to be 'maybe' a few sharked cars or 'swaped' motor cars running so we'll run those cars up against each other opposed to Factory tuned cars.

    Lap battles at various tracks. This will be a 4 lap race at selected tracks via players. This will be a 2 out of 3 wins battle. 2 wins takes the win. Players tie will race a 3rd round.

    Drift battles in corners. Cars set up for drift will be drifting with each other and judged by 'qualified' judges. Cars can be modified in any way.

    I supposed that I will be in also (being as Vic practically lives accross the street), just set a day and time. I might even bring the xbox for some rally fun.

    I'm just hosting my place... still waiting to hear from them guys when they want to do this... again, typical MNSUBIE event thing ;)

    Yes, I have two TV so we can link them... some will play upstairs on the smaller TV while others will get the bigger one in the basement.

    Please bring additional Xbox, PS2 and games etc... I'll provide the network cable and router.

    Bring your own memory card, favorite controller etc...

    December 11th from 11AM to 3 or 4PM can't do it any later cause I have a date in Edina with the wife and her work place.

    Anybody got Halo 2?? I want to play it and see what's all the hype about ;)

    Nice, I'm still DL'ing my Forza Demo as I type. Does the Demo even allow us to LAN? I've played the Demo briefly at Target.

    The demo I have is 12 cars and 1 track. Its kinda like the gt4 demo stuff, but it give ya some go info and has some sweet demo movies and such.

    It went great, lotsa fried rice! hehe...well vic took out the legendary fuji with a cute awd hatchback looking toyota. Ob1 wuss out on me and made some excuse but we all know would've took this...:D ....The day was fun, hope we do it again, you guys should've showed up! Btw jordan, vic's smiling after beating fuji and says your next! :p

    I wish I could have been there in person :-( I had wife approval even a week beforehand! Oh well, I was there in spirit though cheering on Vic!! There's no way he could have won otherwise ;-) :-p

    Congrats Vic, good job!! Way to represent us old folks!

    All in all, it was a good day... even after a late start.

    We had a grip battle royal and lucky me... was able to represent the old folks. We taught the young'ins how it's done.

    The drift race... it was no contest, Fuji rules that for sure with his crazy setup... but I get the icing on the cake as my car was the car of any car no matter what anyone say. I had all the right stuff put into it... even did a power drift that got every one wild up.

    Rally... it's no contest there... Russ owns!

    I'd like to thanks Fuji and his posse for making this happen. Thanks for the food and drinks guys.

    Russ, Troy, Fue, Lee, Lue, Fue's sister, Tony and last but not least... Matt showed up to cheer old Vic on.

    I had fun and I hope everyone did as well. GT3 and RalliSport were the only two games we got on all day.

    I'm sure there will be a next time.

    I'm game!

    Time for bed now, my old sore thumb can't bare it anymore.

    Great fun! Thanks to Vic for letting us have this happen at his house. Thanks for everyone who came, because if you all didn't come, this wouldn't have happened.

    Get all your cars ready because GT4 won't be coming out for for like 2 months or something. We may have another GT3 battle along with other games.
