Double fail. Repost. This video made me giggle in a couple spots, but for the most part I thought it was douchebaggery at it's finest. Filming this on public roads? Setting off fireworks in wooded areas? If they could've done this on a closed course I think it would have been funnier. That being said, I liked the trailer jump.
hopefully im not the only one but I thought it was funny. For a low budget redneck group to have the idea alone is worth it.
don't judge it based on what you see (what may appear to be open roads may not necessarily be open roads ). go find the special stage thread on this video where the director actually addresses these concerns
Funny vid. Decent driving too. It's nice to see that people actually use subarus for what they were disgned for. IMHO, The sad thing is that car saw more action shooting that film than 80% of the diaper wiped, tar-babies out there. Realistically, and not to be too condescending, cars are man made pieces of junk that are going to fall apart anyways....might as well have some fun.....yee hah!!!! And FWIW, "rallying" is not a safe thing to do, even in a sanctioned event. Do we nee to add up the countless deaths and accidents related to the sport of rallying over the years? There is nothing wrong with a backwoods road if you are safe about it. It's free and fun.
just curious, how do you define "tarbabies", cause I hope my definition is different than yours... or if you define it as the rest of the world.... that is racist banter and grounds for banning... Please clearify and feel free to word that quite differently.
intresting term. I have never heard it used that way. It reminds of "Clerks II" and the line "I'm taking it back". LOLz
After reading the SS post, I can watch the video in a different light. If they had the roads closed down, etc then I'm all for it. The baby stroller thing didn't bother me in the least because I didn't think it was real for a second. I still think the fireworks in a wooded area is a stupid idea, but I've been on more grass fires this year so far than I have in the last 5 years combined and I'm probably a bit jaded when it comes to that. FWIW, Subarus are designed to go from point A to point B just like any other car, they just happen to be more capable in adverse conditions thanks to AWD. Being able to rally with them is just a side benefit.
Thanks for elaborating. Man I must be getting old! We used to say that all the time growing up, mostly referring to trucks like this:
Kyle Sarasin is low budget. He just had a very very generous guy paying to run him the last few years, but that's done now.
this was pretty funny to watch. looks like somthing me and my friends would do when we get board. thought that the trailer jump and the fireworks were pretty B.A.
Harsh. I thought someone really tried to do it.... this is just someone who is dead for some unknown reason.
i knew a kid in Ohio who drove his car into a house left it parked in there living room... walked home passed out in his bed. Only to be woken up by police a couple hours later.
Yeah, that part we have could of done without. But that would be soo much fun shooting fireworks at moving vehicles!!
I thought the vid was really funny... Seemed like some pretty good driving in some parts too... Loved the fireworks and the "rocket launcher"...
Rally America overall national championship last year: 1. Travis Pastrana 2. Ken Block 3. Kyle Sarasin kyle can definitely drive
