Haha funny story

Ok so i'm up at target getting some Mr. Clean magic earasers (god i love those) and i was on my way back on 7 and a little red civic just flies past me and i really didnt think anything of it, he can go flush out the cops haha. But then we get to a stop light and we are both up front. The light turns green and we start to go and i hear a little bit of a tire squeel but i didnt really think anything of it. So i'm driving and i notice that his revs are getting pretty high. I finally notcie after 4th gear that he and I were indeed engaged in a steet race. haha man u gotta love those hondas

 

i love hondas.....

 

Yea I had some moron in a Focus try to get me to go on I-94 with the wife and kids in the car... wtf was he thinking. Really starting to loose my faith in the human race.

 

yea, sometimes it can get bad having our cars, people will try to race me and seriously pass mini vans with a mom and kids on the shoulder and just rediculous stuff like that. unprovoked stupidity. I heard they were going to make a track somewhere around here but there are too many idiot drivers

 

o haha BTW i have no disrepsect for hondas, this situation was just kinda funny

 

Hondas usually plays catch up all the time, unless u get the hardcore ones that pushes 400+WHP but they are usually more mature than that, that owns them High HP Hondas.

I actually had the opposite happen this morning. I was going west on I-94 and was trying to get a chance to pass a Ford Ranger for over 5 miles (I was running late again) when we came up on a Caviler with a fart can. I watched this truck and Caviler go at it on the freeway 4 or 5 times (pulls from 70 to 90) before the truck finally moved over so I could pass. I got up to my highway speed (something around 80) and held that speed as I passed the Caviler. I actually saw him/her (very dark tint) slow down to like 70 and disapear into the distance behind me. I never saw the car again. I would never street race and I really think it is a bad idea to do but I was really suprised that he/she did not try to get me to go like the truck. Must have gotten scared of a real car. I was laughing for a good 5 minutes.

 

haha yea. Thats what i was doin, shifting at 3k every time. It was too dark to tell about the front bumper. It was one of the 2002 ish civics. Haha but no i let him go ahead of me. That stretch of highway 7 is absolutly deadly and night between 101 and excelsior. Watch your speed there. My V1 will pick up a cop each night on that road.

 

i like to rev at them when at a light and when it turns green i just slowly cruise and watch him fart away...not worth my 1cent of gas

 

That happens to me too. I usually accelerate up to 60 really fast cause it's fun then I just keep driving. Then I'll notice the car blow by me and then slow down and at the next light they'll rev on me and I realize that they must have been racing me.

 

I wish I could get that type of attention...I don't seem to find any racers/ricers anywhere...no matter what...But when I am with my brother in his minivan...We run into like 2 evos and a bunch of civics on the highway...but when iam in my WRX...I don't find anyone...but I guess it does not really matter...because usually when they hear my RFL BOV...they tend to change their minds LLLLLOOOOOOLLLL.....

I usually drive pretty hard up to the speed limit....just cause I have a heavy right foot. I love it when I end up at a stoplight next to one of these morons. they never see it coming, then I hit the speed limit, let off the throttle to just cruise, and they just fly past me.

It's not like I've got some crazy built motor, just one designed for a much bigger car...and still I can outrun these guys without breaking 4k rpms :laugh:

 

I was doing Honduh racering during my breakin period! haha, no need to launch, nor rev past 4k. lol
