hey guys and girls, im new to the scene and about less than a month ago i picked up my 97 impreza awd wagon. its got 167k on it now, came with window tint, lame dodge omni wheels (i painted black) with blizzaks, kyb struts, ghetto ebay intake, and the previous owner put on the outback hood. all i have done so far is i fashioned my mk3 golf thule rack(im attached), but i have many plans for this car. here are a couple pics, ill get some more later.

    ^ Thanks,
Most of those trucks have the exhaust out the side or just cut off half way under the pickup bed, Loud and it just a little straight four in most of the s-10's.

But, Maybe he dragged it off the back dropping it too low one too many times:biggrin:

Is it pretty loud though Blackmax? I am going to keep my stock for now but eventually I think I will need a new one.

only at open throttle it gets decently loud. borla engineers great products, this retains the rumble and amplifies it producing a richer deeper note. its quiet if you need to sneak by cops but its loud if you feel you need to make an impression and its throaty when your intimidating people at the stop light  i love mine. and im NA!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, much appreciated.
the truck had a flowmax 40 series dumped right before the axle because with a full exhaust its hard to get an s10/hombre to lay frame without bed modifications and other somewhat expensive mods. the sparks are from two solid steel 6X1 pieces welded to the bottom of the bumper.
as for mods on the wagon i would love to get a full exhaust system which is mostly all for the motor that i wana keep stock (for now..), smoked headlights and turns, smoked side markers, lower it, some pc'ed black 17's with a meatier tire, rally bar with two hella lights, 2.5 rs front bumper cover with fogs, and maybe a rear wagon spoiler.

Look for UEL borla headers if you're looking for the boxer rumble. I like the Greddy Evo2 catback imo. But if you want the jdm angle then you can go with a apexi N1 exhaust? There are plenty of brands out there, it's what ever suits you. You can look up 5zigen, cobb, borla, brullen, etc. for exhausts. I have a Sti axle back it's nice, not loud, and low pro.

    I love the scrapper btw.

ide love to buy that borla set up but as of right now im so strapped for cash...im gona be looking for a subtle exhaust system with maximum performance so that one would be perfect tho. mods will more than likely start coming in the spring summer, but they will happen as i have a very very hard time keeping anything stock. quick question tho, might seem kinda dumb but what is the generation of my car? im curious for when im searching parts and what-not.

GC and GM (not general motors) are the same chassis, and are more common search terms.
