Hello! Just got myself a 2001 Legacy GT Limited! Always wanted a Subaru, love rally racing, and now I am a proud owner. Hope to have a chance to be a part of what seems like a real nice community here in Minnesota! The car: Found it via Craigslist from another dude going to college here. White, black leather, 124k miles, bone stock, impeccable interior, a couple of dents and some chips on the outside, my favorite rims, fresh Falken ZIEX-912's, and every bell and whistle except seat heaters. The future of her is uncertain, I haven't figured out a budget for what I might want to do, but I am seeing that performance is a spendy endeavor for a 3rd gen Legacy, so I am considering comfort and aesthetic as my direction. Some ideas: seat heaters all around, integrated AC inverter, ScanGauge, & JDM HID's. I've also got a sound system standing by to migrate in, but I need to get the front door speakers and DIN pockets first. As for today, gotta take her in to SVS and get a new axel... CVT boot is cracked. Me: I am an Industrial Engineering student at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I am originally from the Minnetonka area west of the 'Cities. I've always loved cars, and have a burning passion for rally racing. I also enjoy computers, snowboarding, mountain biking, death metal and hip-hop (polar opposites, I know), and working at pizza joints .
