i would love to see the event happen on the 21st.
this is the one in princeton, right?
however, given my track record of being able to actually get to the events dont change it just for me. i just have a better shot of making it if it is on the 21st.

Scoreboard Mark:biggrin: I got you at Corcoran but we'll have to see how the next one goes. Utech was teaching me the ways of the goey foot.

Either day will work for me BTW.

A lot of people I was beating caught and passed me after the final round.

I agree with the reversal of the running order 100%, but my group had the sloppiest conditions of the entire day due to the watering happening immediately before our run (without any time to soak in or dry like the first two sets), and some gratuitous over-watering by a certain unnamed *cough*Josh*cough* individual. I literally lost three seconds each run on the first left (I was counting as I was sliding, not much else to do at that point).

We probably also had the best conditions of the day on the first run set though.

Yeah, the water did not have enough time to soak in, we shoulda started watering before the drivers meeting, not after. That pin corner was bad too, and I didn't put nearly as much water on it as I did during lunch, taht clay just got snotty with any amount of water. To be fair to Josh, in the morning we got the advice that it was difficult to overwater that section of the track due to the slope and soil type.

Thanks for posting up the results. I'm gonna have to work hard to stay ahead of Denny for the rest of the season

Brent- You need to pick a class! It is sad, only having participated in 3 events and you are third in both PA and M2.

I think you all ought to vote for the 7th, since that is the day after Brent's birthday. Perhaps you guys in M2 will get lucky and he won't be "feeling so well". We are having a Birthday party the night before after all

Well, I'll be there with my car that just got it's drivers license this year as it's 16 ;)

Oh, and I found out while buying parts that it's actually a Plymouth Sundance Duster :slayer:

If my master plan works, it won't be a bobble head thru the slaloms anymore!! And no, I'm not installing outriggers... :eek4:

LOL. I couldn't back up with the hose and by the time I thought, "SHUT IT OFF! Then move it!", it was MUCH too late! Hahaha. It DID in fact make things interesting as you all came flying into it on your first laps. We got some good laughs anyways. Sorry for the overwatering, it was in fact, unintentional. I'm newb.

The track conditions were great for us going last! I had a 43, 42, and a 40.066 on my very last run of the day. Staying in first and blasting through with the ebrake made mah times much better(no missed shifts!) Although my radiator was not a fan of first only! Two inch crack...new one will be in this weekend.

And as for date suggestions...I say choose the one that Mark won't be able to make. That should help us M4 guys a little. Kthanks.:)

YOU sir...are fast! Doesn't help that I need alot of improvement and some tutorials to help me with my times. Although I have read through your thread which covers most styles of driving...I just have troubles "applying" them!

No hate, we respect the skills. I had the second fastest third run set at Dog Daze next to you and you smoked me by 6 seconds. That might give people a small taste of how badly you beat up on all of us.

Give me 20 years of this stuff and then I might be able to hang with you.

This ^ shows true wisdom. All joking aside, driving on slippery surfaces is ALL about experience. I've got a fair bit of it.

To put it even more simply, seat time is everything. Enter every event you can. You will get better (I'm using the all inclusive "you").

For now, I'm enjoying seeing the improvement of many based on some simple suggestions. It was very cool to see how many improved after the first run set at Dog Daze when I offered that almost everyone would go faster if they slowed down a bit.

BTW, my post above was a response to Josh's post suggesting to schedule the event when I couldn't be there. It was meant in humor. Sorry if that got lost in my post.

i think that is a clever disguise adopted by your true robot self to lull your competition into a false sense of security.

i have a feeling you may in fact be the prototype for the Loeb-bot.

the last time there was a such a gap from 1st to second was when Doug brought CPD1 to my parents place.

Is princeton another gravel event, or is it a dirt/mud one?

Definitely going to try and make this, but knowing which date it'll be on is kinda important (at least, as far as finding a place to sleep is concerned).

No, not the fairgrounds. I'll provide more info once I know for sure what we're doing.

I do understand how it gets tiring getting beat by Utecht, but you got it easy. Mark's been in a giving mood the last year or so, at least he tells us how to go faster now, after beating us.

Rallycross tends to be a "middle of nowhere" event. Car events are like that and ones that make a lot of dust are even more so.
