hahahahahaha damn what a coincidence I just watched WAR with my gf the other night, It's such a cruddy movie. I couldn't stand watching it, and the story seemed sloppy and thrown together.
Jet Li who they tried to kill (when he wasnt jet Li but the fbi guy) and his family, survivied and killed the guy who killed his family then burned down the house to hide the identities, then took on the assasins identity, built up a reputation as a bad ass, then went postal on wiping out both fractions, and killing his ex-partner whom wasin cohoots with one of the sides and had gotten his family killed etc... what is there not to understand... ha ah a
O.K. way to kill like 90 minutes, but not even close to being one of the better movies by the main guys...
I just got it via netflixs last week and I ended up turning it off after a hour it just wasn't doing it for me. And I usually like those type of movies... and I couldn't get it to burn... I love how all these no-name movies wont burn then I pop in a new popular movie and it works just fine. I Know I could have got it to work but it wasn't really worth my time.
i dunno, the movie was decent i guess, i enjoyed it. the movie's plot was decent, my demonic woman friend didn't get it at all because she missed some, i guess if you didnt catch a part or two you could get confused by some of the lack of information.
basically the asian cop became the hired asassin (Jet Li- took comestic surgery to look like the hire assasin) to find out who tried to kill his family, by doing so, he then had to act as the hired asassin to get close to the hired hand. All this while the transporter guy (cop) was also trying to arrest the assasin without realizing he was his previous partner (asian cop)...confused yet!?!
